Naval Hospital Jacksonville is the third largest hospital operated by the United States Navy. In addition to the main hospital, Naval Hospital Jacksonville operates five Branch Health Clinics in Florida and Georgia. It employs 2,500 military personnel and civilians, from doctors and nurses, to dentists and administrative staff, to offer a full range of quality services.
All Naval Branch Health Clinics offer preventative and urgent care. The Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville treats active duty military exclusively. Other Naval Branch Health Clinics are located in Albany, Georgia; Key West, Florida; Kings Bay, Georgia; and NBHS Mayport in Jacksonville.
The hospital includes a pharmacy and laboratory, as well as emergency and urgent care, prenatal care and surgery. Outpatient clinics include allergies, cardiology, dental, deployment health, dermatology, diabetes, ENT, family medicine, wellness, immunizations, mental health, nutrition, occupational health, pediatrics and sports medicine. The hospital also offers a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program.
