Basic Qualification: Successfully completed a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study in Entomology; or a related discipline of the biological or physical sciences that included at least 16 semester hours in entomology.
OR Successfully completed a combination of education and experience.
Completed courses equivalent to a major that included course work as shown in above (major field of study in Entomology; or a related discipline of the biological or physical sciences that included at least 16 semester hours in entomology), plus appropriate experience or additional education.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience is defined as 1) participating in vector-born and rodent-borne risk assessments and operational field studies; 2) collecting specimens to assess species composition; and 3) monitoring pest control service contracts.
