First area of consideration (AOC) will be given to AFGE (permanent employees), Leavenworth, KS (including CMOP, National Cemetery Administration and current Veteran Canteen Service employees who have served on a permanent appointment for 90 days or more).
Second AOC will be given to any additional permanent employees of EKHCS.
Third AOC will be status eligibles to include special appointing authorities.

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C.
SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, which usually appears as question 1 in the on-line questionnaire.
Those applicants who appear to possess at least the minimal acceptable qualification requirement are considered for further rating; those who do not are rated ineligible and are eliminated.

Physical Requirements: Incumbent stands or walks on covered concrete floors.
Some eye-hand coordination is required to operate equipment.
Operator may frequently lift bulk linen over fifty (50) pounds when loading or unloading equipment or linen.
Incumbent needs strength and stamina for performing heavy tasks for long periods of time.
Must pull wet, compacted laundry from washer/extractors and push and pull heavily loaded carts etc. Working Conditions: Subject to drafts from open doors, moving overhead equipment, exposure to laundry chemicals, high level of noise, hot and humid work areas, and bruises when moving carts or working.
