The purpose of this position is to provide a student trainee in the Pathways Summer Program with on-the-job training and guidance.
The student trainee performs heavy laboring tasks which require significant manual skill and very heavy physical effort operating equipment that includes characteristics such as single-function performance and components that are independently controlled through various hydraulic and/or mechanical devices such as large, complex riding lawn mowers and similar types of specialized mowing equipment.
WG-04: All applicants must have successfully completed of 2 academic years of post-high school study or an associate's degree.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
