This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR, Position Description Number D1528000 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, Air National Guard.
NOTE: This position is subject to rotating or night shift work.
NOTE: Individual must possess a 7 level due to nature of the job and inability to acquire upgrade training.
NOTE: Individual may have to relinquish current tenure.
Individual selected will receive an Indefinite Appointment and may be converted to permanent based on availability of funds or position no longer being encumbered.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard.
Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the business or industry position to be filled or in comparable work or functions.
Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations.
Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures.
Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations.
Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed.
Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
