Information Technology Management Job for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This position is located in the National Weather Service (NWS), National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), Central Operations, Operational Monitoring Branch with one vacancy located in College Park, MD.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.To qualify at the GS-12 level: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In addition to meeting the IT Competencies above, applicants must also possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience MUST include all of the following:Ensuring the continuity and reliability of real-time data flow, data processing, analysis, and product generation services in an operational computing environment;Providing support of IT systems and equipment used to observe, collect, convert, process and communicate scientific data and information; andWorking with customers, internal or external, who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations.
