About the Position: This position is located at the 7th Signal Command, 106th Signal Brigade, Regional Network Enterprise Center, Signal Network Center, Information Assurance Division, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin.
Fort McCoy is located in a good rural area, between Tomah and Sparta.
The area offers commendable schools and reasonable housing costs situated between two major interstates.
Fort McCoy has an excellent Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) program.
Activities open to employees include the Whitetail Ridge Recreation Activity (ski hill, tubing and other winter sports), a fitness center with Olympic-size pool, saunas etc. and Pine View Recreation Area with an RV/camping park.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
One year of specialized experience in applying risk factors associated with maintaining IT security sufficient to implement corrective or preventive actions, and mitigate risks; providing support for the testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT equipment and software systems, analyzing system failures, and providing technical support to users.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service, GS-07.
