Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: A minimum of 6 months’ work experience with cash register/cash handling responsibilities is required.
Recreational knowledge of, or working experience in a bowling center is strongly preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age, be able to read, write and understand both written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately.
Must be able to demonstrate and use polite, courteous customer service.
Must be able to perform simple cleaning tasks.
Must maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT This position requires continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting.
Moderate physical effort is required continuously in the performance of the cleaning tasks described.
Must have the ability to reach above shoulder height.
Must have the ability to move furniture, equipment and supplies weighing up to 45 pounds unassisted.
Work is performed indoors with proper hear, light and ventilation.
The incumbent is exposed to conditions inherent in the cleaning tasks described.
May be subject to seasonal work.
May work in the presence of cigarette smoke, alcohol consumption and rough language.
SPECIAL REQUIRMENTS One year experience or satisfactory completion of a certified ball drilling school is preferred.
This position is subject to an irregular tour of duty, which may include nights, weekends, holidays and seasonal work.
May be required to travel to other locations to support MWR operations and/or receive training.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience.
You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
