THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 INDEFINITE EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D2325000 and is part of the NH 157th Maintenance Group, National Guard.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an Indefinite excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard.
Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
Current technicians selected will retain the appointment status they are currently in.
(i.e., Permanent or Indefinite) and will be placed on a temporary promotion (or other appropriate personnel action) if selected for this position.
Individuals from Area II or Area III will be appointed indefinite status.
Conversion to permanent status is dependent upon current incumbent not returning to this position.
Areas of Consideration: 1,2,3 Definition of Area(s) of Consideration: Area 1 - Permanent or Indefinite technicians currently employed with the New Hampshire National Guard.
(This area includes New Hampshire National Guard AGR's who have USERRA rights back to a technician position).
Area 2 - AGR, temporary technicians, or traditional/M-Day soldiers and airmen currently serving in the New Hampshire National Guard.
Area 3 - All individuals eligible for immediate military membership in the New Hampshire National Guard as a military member in the grade/rank listed in this announcement.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: WG-12: Must have at least a three-skill level in one of the compatible AFSCs, with 12 months of work experiences, that involved installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, aligning, calibrating, and rebuilding multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions.
For continued ANG Technician employment in any FWS Series 2610 position, the selected dual status technician candidate must obtain and maintain all compatible service specific military skill requirements in certifications, training, and education, and security clearances.
