This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), Position Description Number D0257000 and is part of the AZ G6, National Guard.

NOTE: This position is subject to rotating or night shift work.

NOTE: Must have a valid Secret Security Clearance.

NOTE: Any Air Force or Arizona Air National Guard applicants who possess AFSC 3D0XX/3D1XX are required to transfer to the Army Arizona National Guard and complete Army Basic Military Training and Military Occupational Specialty Advanced Individual Training (Tech School).

NOTE: Any Air Force or Air National Guard applicant must be gained by the AZ Army National Guard prior to appointment.

Individual selected will receive a Permanent Appointment after successful completion of a one year trial period.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard.

Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.

Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months of experiences as a Defense Personnel Cyberspace Operations CPT-ICS Team Member and performed cyberspace operations that protected and defended (or assessed the capability to protect and defend) information and information systems by ensuring their availability, authentication, confidentiality, integrity and non-repudiation.

Experienced in mission assurance of information systems by incorporating protection, detection, and reaction capabilities.

Competent in conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of DoD information systems to identify associated vulnerabilities, risks and protection needs.
