The Examiner position is under the Guardianship, Protective Proceedings, and Durable Power of Attorney statute, D.C.
Code § 21-2001, et. seq., an individual who is alleged to be incapacitated may have an examiner appointed by the court to evaluate the condition of the individual and to make appropriate recommendations to the court.
Professionals must be licensed in the District of Columbia.
United States Citizens or individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residency or authorized by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service to work in the United States.
