NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard.
Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Your Resume must list some experience in each of these areas: Experience or training which demonstrates the knowledge of materials and hand tools associated with packing and the ability to follow directions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your Resume must show at least 9 months in each of the following areas: Experience or training demonstrating the knowledge of different types of standard packing containers, protective devices, and cushioning, packing, and preservation materials.
Experience storing, packing and shipping standard, hazardous, and specialized equipment and items including sensitive and classified materials in accordance in state and federal regulations.
Experience using standard formulas based on interior dimensions of the container to determine amounts of preservative needed for storage of shipment of items requiring moisture-free conditions.
Experience using material handling equipment.
Area 1 - Open to current, permanent technicians of the Michigan National Guard.
