This National Guard position is for a Supply Technician, Position Description Number D1951000 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, Air National Guard.

NOTE: This position is subject to rotating or night shift work.

NOTE: Position is UTC tasked.

Individual selected will receive an Indefinite Permanent Appointment and may be converted to permanent based on availability of funds or position no longer being encumbered.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard.

Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.

Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 18 months experience, education, or training which demonstrates a thorough knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment.

Experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstructing records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts.

Experience performing routine aspects of supply work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems related to a limited segment in one of the major areas of supply management.
