This announcement is being used to recruit qualified individuals, under the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Direct Hire Authority, authorized by 5 United States Code (U.S.C.), Section 3304 and 5 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 337, Subpart B. The Rule of Three, Veteran's Preference and traditional rating and ranking of applicants do not apply to the Direct Hire process.

This position is established in the Weapons Systems Software Engineering Branch of the Equipment Engineering Division at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, in San Diego, CA.

This position is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, availability, functionality, and efficiency of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of information systems.

Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position.
