The selectee for this position will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSTEMS ANALYSIS) in the Navy ERP Sustainment Department of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER which delivers Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) solutions with specific emphasis on logistics and financial related products and services.

The duty station is Mechanicsburg, PA.

The Selectees will serve as senior systems analysts performing work which involves applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of the organization.

Primary duties include creating/modifying functional or design documents, planning and coordinating feasibility studies to determine practicality of requirements from an IT standpoint, providing functional expertise of Navy ERP business processes, and developing overall test plans.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Creditable specialized experience must be IT Systems Analysis related, which is applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of the organization and performing the following duties: 1.) Using expert level knowledge in one or more of the following in SAP, ERP sustainment business process configuration areas/modules to plan, design, and implement new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements: Planning, ,Training, and Warehouse Management, Communication, Enterprise Business Architecture, and Configuration Management.

2.) Creating or modifying functional or design documents which may include Operational Concept Document(OCD), Project Transmittal, Requirements specifications (RSs), System Specification, System Flowcharts, Test Plans/Scenario, Use Cases, Program Design Document (PDD), Program Specifications (PSs), User/ Implementation Guides, or similar documents; 3.) Planning and coordinating feasibility studies to determine practicality of requirements from an IT standpoint; 4.) Performing extensive fact finding to gather actual work processes, through consultations with IT and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), customers, or contractors and through simulation studies, benchmark testing, trend/cost/benefit analysis, and development of new information sources; 5.) Providing functional expertise of SAP/ERP business processes to develop overall test plans, conduct various levels of testing, document test results, and coordinate with other System Integrators and Customers to resolve and retest problem areas.
