You can make a difference in the West by serving as the expert in the area of Unix systems administration Reclamation wide.The Infrastructure Operations Services Group is the custodian for the Bureau of Reclamation's enterprise IT infrastructure.

The Group provides operation and maintenance services, contract oversight, and project management services for data center operations, network management, server, data base, middle tier/web and related telecommunications activities.

DEFINITION OF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To meet specialized experience, your resume must describe experience that demonstrates the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities as follows:GS-12: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-11 level in Federal service.

Experience in all aspects of system software for the UNIX/Linux minicomputers, especially software pertaining to operating systems software; specifically experience with RedHat Enterprise 6/7 or CentOS 6/7.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
