GS-09: In order to qualify for the GS-09 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in Federal service; OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree; OR master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.Specialized Experience for GS-09: Defined as: (1) experience applying IT security standards and practices as they relate to networks, firewalls, and various operating systems; and (2) working knowledge of any technical regulatory standards or technical industry code; such as NERC, FISMA, Cyber Security, or government contracts.GS-11: In order to qualify for the GS-11 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in Federal service; OR 3 full years of progressively higher graduate education leading to a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree; OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.Specialized Experience for GS-11: Defined as: (1) experience in development of processes, plans, and/or policies for cyber security, and (2) an active participant in a compliance program or assigned duties designed to meet technical regulatory standards or technical industry code; such as NERC, FISMA, Cyber Security, or government contracts.Education: If you are using education as a substitute for experience, your degree must be in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.Competencies: Your resume must reflect experience in each of the four following competencies:1.
