The selectee for this position will serve as a Information Technology (IT) Specialist (System Administrator) in the Information Management Department (IMD), Directorate for Administration (DFA) of HOSP CHERRY POINT.

To qualify for the GS-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing support in integrating, maintaining, and maturing a Microsoft Windows Active Directory (AD) system; Maintaining a Microsoft Exchange Server to include documentation related to user accounts and system backup procedures; Installing, configuring, and maintaining Domain, Exchange email, anti-virus, host-based security and various other servers; Monitoring and evaluating the impact, efficiency, and effectiveness of the local area network (LAN); and Establishing and maintaining documentation, licensing, and service support for software configuration.

OR A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management OR 3 full years of progressively higher graduate level education in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or, graduate education that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks Your experience in the information technology field must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

To qualify for the GS-09, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
