Qualifications: In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.Education: Completion of 2 academic years of post-high school leading to an associate's degree or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.Note: An academic year of undergraduate education is defined as 30 semester hours, 45-quarter hours, or the equivalent in an accredited college or university, or approximately 36 weeks for at least 20 classroom hours per week in an accredited business, technical, or secretarial school.Specialized Experience:Have at least 1 year of specialized experience performing selected tasks and phases of routine studies and projects that require application of basic occupational field theory and principles in the technical area of logistics.
This experience must have been at a level of difficulty and complexity sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of this position.
It may have been gained in the private sector, volunteer service, military service, and/or government service, etc.Combination of Experience/Education: Have a combination of the specialized experience and education as described in "1" and "2" above that equals 100 percent when combined to equal the required 1 year of specialized experience needed for this position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: · Knowledge of basic occupational theory, principles, concepts, and practices in the technical area of logistics.· Skill in applying basic occupational theory, principles, concepts, and practices to perform student trainee assignments.· Ability to follow instructions and guidance to complete assigned task and communicate information to others in oral or written format.· Ability to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather and interpret pertinent data, and apply establish rules and procedures in order to recommend effective solutions.
