Fort A.P.

Hill has served a number of roles and has gone through some changes since its opening.

During the Korean Conflict, the facility was re-named Camp A.P.

In 2011, development of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training Center (named after Captain Jason McMahon who died in Afghanistan in 2010) was completed.

The base now serves as a training facility for all branches of the United States Military.
